I got this little lockbox to replace my bank safety deposit box fire and flood safe. Easily locks, it is pretty heavy though. Does not have any bolts or anything to lock to the ground. I didn’t want that but I am am including because that seems to be an important question to the men in my family. I didnt really buy it for anybody to steel just for important papers I don’t even keep it locked that way any would be theives probably wouldn’t bother with it.
I am overall very happy with the purchase.

Before I bought this safe I had my important documents sitting in manila folders waiting for the day for me to spill water on it or a fire to break out. Then one day I sat on my citizenship papers, wrinkled them and I thought “I really need a safer place to put these.” That’s when I bought this big bad mother shut yo mouth. Seriously, this thing has some heft to it. I weigh about 200 lbs and stood on this thing for 5 minutes and nothing happened to it. (I was using it to reach the top of my closet – which I don’t recommend). I give my full recommendation for this product.

I LOVE this safe. It is heavy but that is partially what makes it safe. And there isn’t a handle because then it would not be waterproof, etc. It is easy to close if you read the directions (push down while unlocking/opening and again when closing). I feel more comfortable knowing that my documents are protected from fire or water damage. This is not something to keep you expensive jewelry in, it does not secure to the floor but for document purposes it is great. A regular size notebook (filled) fits perfectly in the safe with a lot of room left over. I highty recommend this safe and feel the price was very reasonable.

The SentrySafe lock box is great. It’s strong, waterproof and fireproof and I do recommend this for storing important papers in your home.
